Uh. So my birthday is next week right? But it's on Tuesday, and I'm working both Tuesday and Wednesday night. So I thought we could do something over the weekend instead.

Well I was trying to be all aloof and mysterious so I could throw you a surprise party, but I guess not.

But doing something over the weekend would be fun! And finally get you out of the house. What did you have in mind?

Good thing I mentioned it then. Mom plans on keeping us all busy Saturday through Wednesday.
